Walls have been constructed over the past couple of weeks and steel work has begun. The construction will shortly reach eaves level where the project has presented some difficulty.

The first of two pre-fabricated industrial units is being constructed in Wiveliscombe for a local business. The German system utilises an aluminium frame, it is anticipated that it will take a total of 8 days for the two units to be fully complete including insulated steel cladding panels and an innovative inflatable roof system.

Stone + Partners recently hosted an international work experience placement. A student from the Netherlands enjoyed a two week exchange to the practice to broaden their understanding of the UK construction industry. The student was able to gain knowledge of building regulations, contract admin, site visits and design work.
