Wincanton Hospital
Carbon Reduction Scheme
Project Description
Wincanton
Community Hospital is a Somerset NHS Foundation Trust Site in Wincanton. The
site currently comprises 28 inpatient beds and associated facilities.
This
proposal included upgrading the existing boilers in a new boiler room adjacent
to the main hospital building entrance, supported by new air source heat pumps
in a separate plantroom to the east of the site and photovoltaic panels on the
main roof, all installed as part of the hospital’s Carbon Reduction Scheme.
Stone
+ Partners were employed to produce drawings to enable planning consent to be
obtained for the works on the hospital site, and Building Regulation/working
drawings for tender purposes and construction on site, acting as Lead Designer
and Contract Administrator.
