Project Description
Recently completed refurbishment works for Somerset NHS Foundation Trust at Secure Mental Health Wards 1 & 2, Wellsprings Hospital, Taunton.
The project included the creation of a new reception area, together with ground and first-floor upgrades to ensure all patient-facing rooms comply with current anti-ligature requirements. The works also delivered two new Extra Care Suites, each incorporating modern en-suite facilities, enhancing the quality of care and accommodation for patients.
This refurbishment has improved the safety, functionality and therapeutic environment of the wards while supporting the Trust’s ongoing commitment to delivering high-quality mental health services.
