New Offices, Glastonbury

Somerset Social Services had been operating out of cramped and inappropriate accommodation which could not be extended or altered due to its listed status. Following a competitive tender, interview and presentation, the Practice was selected as part of a team, to design a new suite of offices for an enlarged department.

The offices were to form part of a new library building, and the brief called for a building with separate and clearly identified entrances, welcoming in appearance. The offices extend fully over the building at first floor, with access and reception located at one end of the building at ground level.
